Wave-Spirit

On Monday I was told, that I'll be lecturing about hidrodynamics on a course for white water rescue. Nice only that the lecture was on Friday. So again whole week of running around and preparing the presentation (the script I made two years ago).

Friday was nice. Fog in Ljubljana, but great weather in Bovec. The lecture was fine, afterwards a friend asked me to guide a rafting tour. The water level was just great. An English and an Irish couple in a raft - only for person and me, nice sun, great water, what could I wish more? In the other three rafts there were only Hungarian turists, of course I was glad that I had enlish speaking people in the boat. The tour went great. We hit a couple of rocks, but it's normal. In the river the guide need some help from people on board. Steering the raft is not possible with at least a bit of speed. And you can't expect from someone that holds the paddle in his hands for the first time, that he'll do, what he's told to do. No way...

Need to do this more often.

Shrek se že vrti. Sony - nekaj popolnoma enostavnega. Tudi če bo Čokolešnik razmazan cez cel ekran se ne bom preveč sekiral. Dve leti garancije. Lahko, da bo zadostovalo za čas, dokler bo mulec destruktivno izražal svoje potenciale.

Prejšnji teden je imel nekaj manj post-ov, poročilo sledi:

V ponedeljek popoldne dobil mail, da moram spacati seminar za Biologijo do srede, zagovor v petek. Hja. S tem, da sem imel v torek službeno pot. Nekako je le uspelo, v petek sem oddrdral svoje živo srebro in ribe, kolega je razlagal o Bioniki, kolegica o Kaosu. Razprava se je razvlekla...

V soboto je bil na klubu Zmajčkov pokal. Kot šef sodniške službe sem špilal vlogo walk-i talk-ija. Dejansko sem letal od sodnika, do sodnika, sporočal spremembe, kontroliral rezultate in se od časa do časa stiskal pod marelo. Rezultat - blaten do kolen in z mačkom v nedeljo.

Slednjega je odplavilo blato na Rožniku...

I told you before, that I was to get a visit from a friend on weekend that passed.

It was great to speak in english again, to make jokes, to talk about the "old" days. Espacially in this great company of Carsten and Niki. We go back quite some time and it's so interesting to see how this great people are still the same as we all go forward with our lives. What are the differences after you finish your study and you start with the work in the same profession in different countries.

Still the evenings are the same. I believe that Maks will look at us in some time and say: "What are this folks up again to now? Are they crazy or what?" Well, we are! We enjoy our lives, we like to meet, we like to drink couple of beers together. Or 50 % norwegian vodka... Whatever. We have a great time.

Who was there?
Carsten - the GD fireman, Rixa - the one that has only sister's address, Niki - our handball champion, Petra & Iztok - taking care of visitors while Maks had his minutes, Burbo the dog, Karmen - my beloved wife, Maks Kolja - young and restless (you'll get it all back sometime), and me - trying to make the best time for everyone.

Zdržal je mnoge filme, prenašanja iz stanovanja v stanovanje, znane so celo govorice starejših, da je bil že na servisu. Vsekakor je včeraj nepreklicno prenehal s svojim delovanjem. Nič več Shreka, Po-ja (telebajski), pa Dnevnika in podobnih neumnosti. Verjetno ga bom do mladega, z elektroni nabildanega naslednika kar pogrešal. In se toliko več ukvarjal z Maksom.
